project:

First, think about things that annoy you,
that frustrate you, etc. For example, you might say
"It's hard for students to continually know their
grades in a class." |

Then, ask yourself, what kind of software
could improve this? In this case, for example, a general
purpose Courseweb software which doesn't require
the school to get involved would be a solution.
This way, Professors and TAs can simply register on
their own and don't worry about the school getting around
to doing it. |

I (Ravi) have personally found it much
easier to come up with projects this way then to just,
say, come up with something out of the blue. |
